Due to the Coronavirus crisis, the NCL Sky ship was paused for 2 years (March 2020 thru 2022), restarting on March 2nd with day roundtrips from Miami to the Bahamas.

Pool Deck
Programming keeps kids entertained in safe spaces designed for their age groups, so parents can feel good about enjoying a little alone time. The Mandara Spa & Salon aboard Norwegian Sky offers all your favorite treatments, going beyond spa treatments to also include salon and medi-spa services. Think stone massages and salt scrubs, as well as teeth whitening, body composition consultations, manicures, shaves and more. A small selection of ocean-view staterooms feature a round porthole instead of the rectangular window, but the porthole is still behind the bed.

NCL Sky's construction was continued at Lloyd Werft's shipyard in Bremerhaven (another major German shipbuilder) to where the hull was towed on March 8, 1998. Norwegian Sky has a large number of cabins that can accommodate families, with third and fourth berths, and by connecting staterooms. Several cabins across multiple categories accommodated those with disabilities, including a few for those with hearing impairments. Bathrooms include a toilet, sink, shallow shelves and shower, which has a curtain rather than a glass door. The space is tight, but showerheads are moveable, so tall people can be accommodated.

(A second arcade, on Deck 7, is open to all passengers.) Stateroom keycards are required to play the games, but parents can limit how much their kids can spend. Most of Norwegian Sky's services are offered on decks 5, 6 and 7, around the light-filled atrium area. Guest services and the shore excursion desk are located on Deck 5. This is also where passengers embark to start their cruise and disembark at the end. Norwegian Sky heats up at night, with a festive atmosphere that permeates the whole ship. Pack white clothing so you can participate in Norwegian's famous White Hot Night, which includes blacklights and lots of dancing.

Depending on the interior stateroom you book, your room will fit either two or four cruisers.
